About Me

Hello and welcome. I am John Timmis, an ADHD Coach trained at industry pioneers, the ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA) and one of only two organisations accredited by both the International Coach Federation (ICF) and The Professional Association for ADHD Coaches. (PAAC)
For over two decades, I was a Director in my family property business. It was an exhilarating and demanding experience, honing my leadership and problem-solving skills. But the truth is, I often felt like I was wrestling with an unseen force – my own ADHD.
A late diagnosis in my early 50s finally made everything click. Suddenly, the challenges I faced throughout my life had a name, and a path forward.
This wasn’t just a personal revelation; it ignited a passion to help others like me. I embarked on a new journey – a journey of learning and growth. I spent five years diligently training and studying in counselling, mental health awareness, life coaching, and specifically, ADHD coaching.
Executive Expertise
I understand the demands of the professional world firsthand. My 30 years of experience in business translates to practical strategies for managing ADHD in the workplace.
ADHD Empathy
My late diagnosis wasn’t a setback, it was a window of empathy. I’ve lived with these challenges for decades and can truly relate to your struggles.
Family Man
Having ADHD myself and other neurodiversity in my family allows me to empathise and understand the challenges that other families face on a daily basis.
Certified Coach
I completed my training at the world-renowned ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA) and one of only two organisations accredited by both the International Coach Federation (ICF) and The Professional Association for ADHD Coaches. (PAAC) You can be confident you’re working with a highly qualified professional.
My approach is built on four core values:
Emotional Intelligence: I understand the emotional toll of ADHD and will create a safe space for open communication.
Kindness: Compassion is key. We’ll work together without judgment, focusing on solutions and progress.
Perspective: I’ll help you see your ADHD as a strength, not a weakness. Let’s harness that neurodiversity to your advantage.
Honesty: Authenticity is crucial. We’ll set realistic goals and celebrate every step of the way.
